A Night of Love like you’ve never seen before

CABARET EMERAUDE isn’t just a cabaret; it’s an exploration of emotion. 

Directed like a theatrical play each act has been carefully placed within the written story of the night. One leading into the other with intention and evolution. Telling the story of love through the pure emerald light of the heart. An evolution of one's experiences of love throughout their life. Each act showing us a part of an experience of love from a different perspective, and all held together through a theatrical tale told by the voice of two spirits.


Why This Event is Different

We are taking the underground to the big stage and blending incredible local talent with internationally touring artists to bring Sherbrooke an evening of entertainment never before seen at Theatre Granada.

The journey begins the moment you walk through the doors into the elegance of Granada Theatre, where you will be welcomed into enchantment.

THEATRE

BURLESQUE

The first act will bring us into the self, pride, strength, learning to love oneself.

The show will be animated by a duality of Sprits, a reflection of the inner dialog, comparing, reflecting, contrasting, witnessing.

CIRCUS

The second act will offer in reflection; confusion, observing the multiples of self we each inhabit. The exploration of who and who we want to be in this world.

The third act ignites the fire within us. Finding who we are through the strength of our friends, our community. Finding our strength in our circles. Our sisters. Our community.

SNAKE CHARMING

We evolve into the fourth act with a slow dance of seduction. Finding confidence in one's inner essence. Shedding layers that no longer serve. Majestic, enchanting, sensual,

To let this all sink in and to give you some quality time, we take a pause to transition into a live museum. The theatre will become alive with art giving you the opportunity to discover what magic you may find hiding within.

CLOWN

The fifth act takes us now into interaction with others. A new marriage, a playful act showing the dance of courtship and the common misunderstandings and fumblings as we learn to explore our lives with another.

PUPPETRY

The seventh act takes us deep within our hearts and our capacity to open up to another. Into the ocean of love we dive with a stunning duo arial straps act. An act of deep trust, balance, allowing, commitment, strength & passion.

The sixth act allows us to reflect on our own avarice, our desires for indulgence. Having it all. Playful exploration.

AERIALISTS

MAGIC

The eighth act of the spirits integration. All performers merge as one. All facets of eachother. All the same person fractled into one.

We finish off the evening with some sensual funk from De Flore.

The Theatre will open into a dance floor as we welcome you to a rendezvous of dreamy bedroom pop, nu-disco with a French touch, and sensual neo-psychedelia.
